Public speaking can be scary. Most people avoid it at all costs. But armed with the right tools, it can actually be an enjoyable pursuit. This course will give you the keys to presenting in public and controlling the fear of doing so. The course focuses on adult learning theory, presentation phases, and the skills required by the presenter to successfully speak to an audience, ask questions, and manage the room.

Instructor, Del Laughery, holds a BS in Workforce Education, an MS in Aeronautical Science with a focus on education technology, is a retired United States Navy submariner who led the Navy’s Instructor Training School at the Submarine Base in Groton, Connecticut, is a two-time Navy Master Training Specialist and, after the Navy, led the Joint Strike Fighter propulsion training program for Pratt & Whitney.
