The drone can be programmed using entry level block based coding, or more advanced text based coding to perform various challenges throughout the camp. The fun and excitement of flying drones makes it easy to forget students will be learning valuable 21st century programming skills in the process. Battle Drones Entering Grades 3-8 -- 1-4pm, Mon-Thr, June 7 - 10, $99 Students will learn from an experienced drone pilot to complete challenges and earn their Drone Pilot’s License. Once certified, students will take to the skies with their new flying skills and compete with each other in exciting, aerial laser tag battles. Students will work with their teams and use their critical thinking skills to develop strategies for each aerial competition thrown their way.Summer2021

Young Rembrandts Web Art LessonsEnrichmentYoung Rembrandts is traditionally an in-person program held at schools and community centers. In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, they have modified their instruction for online learning through video. Each week, they will send a link via email with access to the video class. This 10 week session, each with a unique set of lessons, designed to teach basic to advanced drawing skills, art techniques and vocabulary to students age 6-12. Simple supplies are needed: 8.5''x11'' paper, pencil, Crayola broad tip markers, eraser, black Sharpie marker. View an introductory video here. Notes: A unique link will be sent to the email address used to register on a weekly basis for 10 weeks. You can access the video by logging in with your email address. Students will be able to watch the video at their convenience, pausing when needed. The video can be viewed up to five times. You can register anytime within the session. Links will be sent for all classes that have already been released no matter when you register.
